The Promise

I don’t know of a better way to say this, but life is hard, life is a battle, living is not easy especially as an adult, life is not a bed of roses. The journey is full of curves and huddles. There’s no easy ride in the race of life.

The journey sometimes if not most of the time is damn right disappointing. Life is not fair and it is even harder for anyone who takes it for granted.

Life has a mind of it own, one moment life is all good and smooth and the next moment everything turns south.

Life is full of ups and downs and only those who are courageous enough to get up everytime they fall will life yield to.

Sometimes life happens to us not necessarily because we fail to plan, but because life just didn’t go as we planned.

Life is like a mountain, you will never get to the top unless you climb it.

Life is a school, not everyone who starts or are in the same class graduates at the same time and with the same grades. Some come out with first, second, third class and even some as drop out. It all depends on what you put in and the measure of grace upon you.

Life is a fire where precious stones are refined, only those who can stand the test of time will come out pure and refined.

Life is like a game, if you don’t play it you stand no chance of winning.

Even though life is a game, we mustn’t see it as a competition against others but against ourselves. Compete and play to be better than you were yesterday, play against your fears, play to be the best you can be. Compete against your challenges and even when you fail don’t remain a failure.

Identify where you might have gone wrong and learn from it then move on to try again.
The journey of life has so many routes and not everyone arrives at the same time.

Life answers to those who do not give up on life but are courageous enough to fail forward.

Nevertheless, in the midst of all these challenges, it is more than encouraging to know that we can rest confidently on the infallibility of God’s word for us in Isaiah 41:10 which says;

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 KJV

This is God reassuring and reminding us of who He is and what He will do for us by Himself.

So do not be unhinge or frightened, but be bold as a lion because the Lion of the tribe of Judah is with you in the journey of life.

He’s your strength, backbone and stability in time of weakness, help and supporter in time of trouble.

He will keep and maintain you in an unaltered condition with His right hand of righteousness.

So, in spite of any challenges you might be going through, i implore you to take consolation in God’s unfailing love.

As i minister to you, i minister to myself..

Thanks and God bless, until next time…

Shalom!

Danny
